{{NAME}} — Grok Bot template kit

Everything to create and publish the {{NAME}} bot template, in the order the app asks for it. Agents: the full kit is machine-readable in #grok-bot-template-kit-data.

Needs the Grok Bot desktop app (x.ai/bot) on an eligible plan: SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Pro+, Cursor Ultra, or Cursor Teams Standard/Premium.

1. Create the bot

Press Cmd/Ctrl+N, choose Create new agent, paste the name, pick a color, hit Get started.

2. Save the skill

Paste the whole block into the chat, then send: save this as a skill.

3. Add your API token

Create a token at {{TOKEN_URL}} (starts with {{TOKEN_PREFIX}}).

Paste it only into the connector's credential field when the bot asks. Never into the chat: chat text can end up inside the skill, and skill text ships with the template.

4. Verify

Send this and check real data comes back:

5. Fill the profile

Bot actions → Edit Profile. Paste the title and description; use {{AVATAR_HINT}} as the avatar.

  1. Open the saved skill and search it for {{TOKEN_PREFIX}}. If your token appears anywhere, remove it before sharing.
  2. Bot actions → Share as Template.
  3. Copy the x.ai/bot link. Keep this bot; whether the link survives deleting its source bot is undocumented.
